F. This premiere is the result of a shared commission between the <strong>National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico,<\/strong> the <strong>Tucson Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>, <strong>The Hyogo PAC Orchestra<\/strong> (Japan) and the <strong>Oviedo Filarmon\u00eda<\/strong> (Spain).<\/p>\n<p>The four premieres will take place as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>September, 7\/9, 2018<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico,\u00a0conductor, Carlos Miguel Prieto, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Mexico DF<\/li>\n<li><strong>January, 25\/27, 2019<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Tucson Symphony Orchestra,\u00a0conductor, Jos\u00e9 Luis G\u00f3mez, Tucson Music Hall<\/li>\n<li><strong>May, 24\/25\/26, 2019<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Hyogo PAC Orchestra (Japan), conductor, Michiyoshi Inoue; Hyogo Performing Arts center<\/li>\n<li><strong>August, 14, 2019<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Oviedo Filarmon\u00eda (Spain), conductor, Lucas Mac\u00edas, Auditorio Pr\u00edncipe Felipe, Oviedo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Arturo M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>\u00a0(\u00c1lamos, Sonora, 1950) is without discussion the most important Mexican composer alive. He wrote masterpieces such as\u00a0<em>Danz\u00f3n n\u00ba<\/em>\u00a0<em>2<\/em>\u00a0(1994) or\u00a0<em>Conga del Fue<\/em>go (2005), which gave him international relevance. He joins a distinguished lineage of Mexican composers like Silvestre Revueltas or Carlos Ch\u00e1vez, who based their music on the traditions and genres of Mexican popular music. Maestro M\u00e1rquez was given the Prize of the Fine Arts by the Mexican Government in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Concierto de Oto\u00f1o (Autumn Concerto) is<\/em>\u00a016 minutes long and was composed between January \u2013 June of 2018.
